Abstract
Benjamin Moffit, in his book "The Global Rise of Populism: Performance, Political Style, and Representation," discusses populism as a political style.
In this context, he aimed to make a conceptualization of populism valid for all societies and geographies in that book. Moffit, who evaluates populism as an incomplete and developing phenomenon, examined the problems related to populism and populism as a political style after evaluating the global rise of populism in his book; then discussed the relationship of populism with the leader, the media, the people, the crisis and democracy; In the last part, he gave his predictions about the future of populism. This book has an important value in the field in terms of Moffit's holistic treatment of populism through induction, its proposition of a comprehensive concept of populism, and its evaluation of populism as a style used by leaders from time to time, regardless of right-left ideology.

Benjamin Moffit, "Popülizmin Küresel Yükselişi Performans, Siyasi Üslup ve Temsil" adlı kitabında popülizm, siyasi bir üslup olarak ele almıştır. Bu kapsamda, kitapta tüm toplumlar ve coğrafyalar için geçerli bir popülizm kavramsallaştırması yapmayı hedeflemiştir. Popülizmi tamamlanmamış ve gelişmeye devam eden bir olgu olarak değerlendiren Moffit, kitabında popülizmin küresel yükselişini değerlendirdikten sonra popülizme ilişkin sorunları, siyasi bir üslup olarak popülizmi incelemiş; ardından popülizmin lider, medya, halk, kriz ve demokrasi ile olan ilişkisini ele almış; son bölümde ise popülizmin geleceğine dair öngörülerine yer vermiştir. Moffit'in popülizmi tümevarım yöntemiyle bütüncül bir şekilde ele alması, kapsamlı bir popülizm kavramı öne sürmesi ve sağ-sol ideoloji fark etmeksizin popülizmin zaman zaman liderler tarafından kullanılan bir üslup olarak değerlendirmesi açısından bu kitap alanda önemli bir değere sahiptir.
