YÖNETİŞİMİN KALKINMA ÜZERİNDEKİ ETKİSİ: AFRİKA ÜLKELERİ ÖRNEĞİ

Abstract

Bu çalışmada yönetişim ve kalkınma ilişkisi, yönetişimin iyi yönetişim ve kalkınmanın insani kalkınma boyutu ile tartışılmıştır. Bu doğrultuda çalışma, teorik çerçeve ve uygulama olmak üzere iki ana bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde literatür taraması yoluyla kalkınma, insani kalkınma, yönetişim ve iyi yönetişim kavramları kavramsal ve operasyonel olarak araştırılmıştır. Çalışmada hem kavramsal hem de operasyonel tanımlamalar konusunda iyi yönetişim için DB (Dünya Bankası), insani kalkınma için de Birleşmiş Milletler (BM)’in verileri esas alınmıştır. Çalışmanın ikinci bölümünde iyi yönetişim ve insani kalkınma ilişkisi, 1996-2017 yılları arası 34 Afrika ülkesi örneğinde ekonometrik analiz yöntemleri kullanılarak test edilmiştir.

IMPACT OF GOVERNANCE ON DEVELOPMENT CASE OF AFRICAN COUNTRIES

Abstract

n this study, the relationship between governance and development is discussed with the good governance dimension of governance and the human development dimension of development. The study consists of theoretical framework and analysis. In the first part through literature review the concepts of development, human development, governance and good governance has been defined as theoretical and operational. Then, the arguments of relationship between good governance and human development are put forward. The study is based on the data of the World Bank (WB) for good governance and the United Nations (UN) for human development in both theoretical and operational definitions. In the second part of the study, the relationship between good governance and human development was tested using quantitative and qualitative analysis methods in 34 African countries between 1996 and 2017.
