Bibliometric Analysis of the Management Concept of Phenomenology Using Visual Mapping Technique

Year 2023, Volume: 10 Issue: 2, 472 - 490, 30.06.2023

Abstract

The field of management science is centred around individuals and encompasses various aspects that cannot be statistically analysed, similar to those encountered in human existence. In this regard, the concept of phenomenology guides perceptual interpretation in the field of management. Phenomenology is a philosophy, a research paradigm, a methodology, and it is synonymous with qualitative research. The research's goal is to contribute to the relevant literature by analysing the content of scientific publications made in the field of management as a philosophical concept. To that end, 398 scientific publications on phenomenology from the Web of Science database were examined using the bibliometric analysis method, and the results were visualised using the VOSviewer software programme. On scientific publications, bibliometric techniques such as citation analysis, keyword analysis, and co-author citation analysis were utilised. The evolution of the literature on the concept of phenomenology in the field of management is mapped using bibliometric techniques, providing a comprehensive view of the field's dynamics, and identifying important studies, countries, and authors. The findings of the analysis are expected to serve as a foundation for future studies on phenomenology in the field of management.

Yönetim Alanında Fenomenoloji Kavramının Görsel Haritalama Tekniğiyle Bibliyometrik Analizi

Year 2023, Volume: 10 Issue: 2, 472 - 490, 30.06.2023
