MALTA’DA DİN ve DEVLET İLİŞKİLERİ

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Katolik inancının baskın olduğu Malta’da, dinin
toplumsal yapıya etkisi üzerinde durulmaktadır. Bu çerçevede öncelikle ülke
tarihi ve AB üyelik sürecine kısaca yer verilmektedir. Nüfusunun %95’inin
kendisini Katolik olarak tanımladığı ülkede dinin yasal boyutu, hükümetlerin
diğer inanç ve düşüncelere karşı tutumu, göç dalgasının ülkede yarattığı korku
ve tüm bunların AB üyelik sürecinde geçirdiği dönüşüm anlatılmaktadır.
