Mert DÖNERÇARK, born in Ankara in 1980, completed his undergraduate education in Management Information Systems and Public Administration. Afterward, he continued his education with a master's degree in Software Engineering, Cyber Security, and Management Information Systems. Currently, he is pursuing his PHD studies in the Department of Management Information Systems at Dokuz Eylül University, focusing on the thesis phase.

His expertise includes Software Development, System Design, Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence Expert Systems, Decision Support Systems, Image Processing, Augmented Reality and Cyber Security. Stepping into the IT sector, DÖNERÇARK has held positions at Meteksan Sistem, Hewlett Packard, and MicroDestek software companies. He currently serves as the "Manager of Software Development and Business Development Department" at MicroDestek Software.

Throughout his software development career, he successfully integrated and utilized Artificial Intelligence, Image Processing, Decision Support, and Natural Language Processing technologies in projects he spearheaded. Under his leadership, developed software products effectively utilized Artificial Intelligence algorithms, image processing technologies, and natural language processing methods, enhancing the functionality and efficiency of products and services.

In his master's education at Dokuz Eylül University's Department of Management Information Systems, he initiated in 2017 and completed in 2020, his thesis titled "The Use of Artificial Intelligence in Enterprise Decision Support Systems: Design and Implementation" has been actively used by numerous institutions. Additionally, he presented a paper titled "The Effect of Exclamation Mark in Sentiment Analysis on Twitter Data" at the 2021 International Management Information Systems Conference at Marmara University, which also involved Natural Language Processing technologies, with contributions from Prof. Dr. Vahap Tecim and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Çiğdem Kaner.

Continuing his research in the fields of web 3.0, augmented reality, virtual reality, blockchain, and the Metaverse, DÖNERÇARK works on the application of advanced technology products and infrastructure developed in these areas to remote education platforms and social life within the scope of his doctoral thesis studies.
